Window Covering
Provide and install window treatments to compliment interior design scheme. When selecting
window treatments, consider climate, cleaning and maintenance. VA will approve type and color
selection.
Accessibility
All construction shall comply with ADA Accessible Guidelines (ADAAG). For new construction, the
rule of "readily accessible" standards shall apply. For alterations, the rule of "readily achievable"
standards shall.
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) does not require individual workstations to be
constructed accessible or be outfitted with fixtures that make them accessible to a person with a
disability. Such modifications will come into play in the form of "reasonable accommodations" when
a person with a disability applies for a specific job and is governed by the "undue hardship"
standard.
