3.4.7 RECEPTACLE FOR HUBBARD TANKS
Provide a weatherproof GFI receptacle stubbed-up 75 mm (3 inches) above
the floor under the edge of the tank.
3.4.8 PHARMACY SERVICE, COMPUTER SYSTEM
(a) Provide one isolated ground receptacle for each CRT and printer.
Locate, as directed by VAMC staff, maximum six receptacles per circuit.
Install all circuits on critical branch with an isolated ground, which
is grounded only at the panel.
(b) Provide empty conduit system to connect all CRTs and printers to a

monitored by VAMC staff. Maximum distance between "Terminal Controller"
and any CRT or printer shall not exceed 600 m (2000 ft.).

3.4.9 WAITING, LOUNGE AND WAITING LOBBY AREAS
Provide safety type receptacles in every 2400 linear millimeters (eight
linear ft.) in Waiting, Lounge and Lobby areas.
3.4.10 ANIMAL SURGERY ROOMS (RESEARCH)
Design Operating Rooms for non-flammable anesthetics only.
(a) Provide non-explosion proof, locking isolated power receptacles at
ceiling locations and standard parallel blade (NEMA #5-20) "Hospital
Grade" receptacles at wall locations.
(b) Provide eight single, "Hospital Grade" power receptacles for
general use at each table: four flush mounted in the ceiling (two at
each end of the table) and four distributed on the permanent wall(s)
associated with the table.
(c) Provide one power receptacle on each wall mounted at 1200 mm (4
ft.) above the floor.
(d) Provide portable X-ray outlet at 1200 mm (4 ft.) above the floor.
(e) Provide X-ray film viewers at 1200 mm (4 ft.) above the floor to
the bottom of the unit.
3.4.11 COOLING TOWER RECEPTACLE
Provide one weatherproof GFI receptacle at each single (or group of)
cooling tower for servicing purposes.
