21.1
Dealkalizer Tank: Shall provide 110 L/min (30 gallons per minute)
maximum flow rate with a capacity of 37 850 L (10,000 gallons) per
day to reduce alkalinity to 20 mg/l.
21.2
Brine and Caustic Soda Tanks: Design a separate measuring tank of
sufficient size to furnish amount of saturated salt and caustic
soda solution required for one regeneration. Caustic soda shall be
approximately 10 percent by weight of total solution. Designate
interior floor space for caustic storage.
