B. Space Determinations
1. Locker Room (LR002)................................................................ 6 NSF (0.6 NSM)
Provide one (locker space) for all FTE Nurse, Dietitian, and all other FTE positions
for whom office space is not provided.
If Dental Service is provided at the clinic, consideration should be given to locating
locker room / changing area space for dentists, dental assistants, and hygienists
within the Dental Clinic.
2. Staff Toilet (TLTU1)...............................................................See Formula Below
Provide one set of water closet and sink at 50 NSF per each increment of 20
projected male FTE, and one for each increment of projected 15 female FTE, or
fraction thereof. Provide one urinal at 15 NSF for each increment of 40 projected
male FTE, or fraction thereof..
3. Single Showers (TLTS1).......................................................... 50 NSF (4.7 NSM)
Provide one per each increment of 30 projected male Environmental Management
Service (EMS) FTE,or fraction thereof, maximum of four. Provide one per each
increment of 30 projected female EMS FTE or fraction thereof, not to exceed four.
Showers are provided for Environmental Care Service and maintenance personnel.
