PREPARE A NOTICE OF INTENT (NOI) FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT (EIS).
An EIS contract is awarded to an outside consultant.

REQUIREMENT:
Provide the following information:

B. Potential alternatives to the project action
C. Project authorization or other document authorizing the preparation of
the EIS.
Prepare a concurrence package including:

ACTION:
A. The Notice of Intent formatted in accordance with the Federal Register
Document Drafting Handbook, Chapter IV, Notice Document Requirements and
40 CFR 1508.22 requirements.
B. A Concurrence and Summary Sheet requesting the Secretary's (00) approval
to publish the NOI in the Federal Register.
C. A correspondence processing note explaining the purpose and the
concurrence routing.
IV. FOLL0W-UP: Check to see how the package is progressing in the concurrence
process.
