Sigmoidoscopy procedures may be performed in other clinical areas (Refer to
Ambulatory Care Chapter 262). If this procedure is provided within the
Endoscopy suite, consider providing within EGD/Colonoscopy procedure rooms,
for efficiency, flexibility and adaptability of procedure rooms.
