TOPOGRAPHIC/LANDSCAPE, ELECTRICAL,
CIVIL/MECHANICAL, AND SOIL SURVEY:
6.1
General:
A.
These surveys are the basis for making site design
decisions. Obtain these surveys and determine the
survey limits that will include a sufficient area to cover
the complete project. Refer all vertical elevations to
permanent bench marks based on actual geodetic
datum (not assumed datum).
Produce the Topographic/Landscape, Electrical, and
Civil/Mechanical Surveys on mylar sheets using VA
standard size sheet as specified in the Architectural
Design Criteria. CERTIFY on drawings that all
information was obtained or verified by actual field
investigation. Provide surveys at an engineering scale
not less that 1:400 (1" = 30').
