The original buildings, built in 1915, are 2 and 3 story Georgian Colonial brick
structures. New building construction, in 1953, changed the nature of the campus. These
buildings were red brick with flat roofs. The two main buildings, 1 and 2, do not relate
to the existing historical buildings. The proposed additions will provide functional
unity by connecting buildings 1 and 2. This connection will also achieve visual unity by
solidifying the mix of architectural styles.
