FOR HOSPITAL PROJECT S
ISSUE:
Interstitial space, smoke removal system.
DECISION:
1. Interstitial space smoke removal system is not required by the Life Safety Code.
Therefore, this requirement in the HVAC Design Manual For Hospital Projects,
paragraph 7.2.I, Interstitial Space Smoke Removal, is being deleted to save cost.
2. This decision was made by the FM's HVAC Professional Group on June 17, 1994.
Ken Faulstich (138) concurred with this change.
3. This change is being implemented in Dallas and Honolulu projects.
