This room houses the computer system image processor components for the
digital fluoroscopic imaging procedures. The room must be well illuminated for
maintenance procedures and, because this is a separate room, it must be air
conditioned and humidity controlled.

3. Computed Tomography (CT)
The CT suite includes four core elements: Scanning Room, Computer/Power
Equipment Room, Control Room, Viewing/Consultation Room.

Minimum NSF. Provide an additional 15 NSF per each CT Scanning Room
greater than one.
b. CT Scanning Room (XCTS1) ................... ..................... 400 NSF (37.2 NSM)
Divide the projected number of annual procedures by 3,840; provide one room
for each whole increment of 3,840 and remainder of 1,150 or greater. Minimum
annual workload to provide a room is 1,150 (see Table 1).
